Colt New Army 1896 Revolver from the 19th century U.S., crafted in steel and horn. Total length: 28.5cm, barrel length: 15.2cm (6 inches) – Caliber 38. Round barrel, rifled, marked 'Colt's Pt. F.A. Mfg. Co., Hartford, Ct., U.S.A. Pat. Aug. 5. 1884 Nov. 6.88 Mar 5.95.' on top, 'COLT. D.A.38' on the left. Half-moon hammer. Swinging cylinder with collective ejector, six chambers, marked 'R.A.C.' Single and double action functioning. Solid frame, marked 'R.A.C.' and 'L.E.B.' Stock marked 'U.S. ARMY 1896 No.150984'. Horn grip. All matching number K984. Original 60% blue finish. Barrel and cylinder mirrors. Excellent mechanical condition. Includes Colt's factory records and expert appraisal.
