When the Romulan sun is about to go nova, Spock takes Vulcan's fastest ship in an effort to counteract it by using red matter. Ths ship, which resembles a jellyfish, has an unusual design and spins around a tail. Spock's mission results in him and a Romulan ship, the Narada, being thrown back in time, where they both encounter a young James T. Kirk. The jellyfish was designed by legendary comic book artist Bryan Hitch and ILM's Ryan Church. The model is approximately 7" (17.5 cm) long.
